LRGV Nocturnal Bird Migration Study
Weekly Black-and-white Warbler (BAWW) night flight call (nfc) activity automatically detected by Nighthawk software operating at multiple stations in the LRGV acoustic monitoring transect (3 stations in 2024 & 2025; 4 stations in 2026). BAWW calls are automatically detected by Nighthawk software operating from half-an-hour after sunset to 90 minutes before sunrise in 2026. Nfc activity is the sum of all incidences of a correctly ID'd BAWW detection that occurred at least one minute from another BAWW detection (see Evans & Conway 2021). Data updated weekly.
